Thus the Center for Digital Technologies (DIGIT) wants to transdisciplinary research and create the digital transformation of sustanable industrial processes. The digital transformation provides a tremendous chance which we would like to actively build at the TU Clausthal and the Ostfalia university through DIGIT.
Thus we establish the following main research:
The processing of raw materials, recycling as well as restoration of contaminated areas and the restoration of industrial wastewaters are the core area of application in research and teaching.
In this main research we engage with how to apply traffic and mobility research to current problems in modern traffic management.
The energy supply of mankind has become one of the most issues today in terms of heating and power supply for households and industry as well as mobility.
Based on sensor data acquisition, machine perception, and robotics, autonomous systems are conquering previously unimagined fields of application.
